FAQ

Here are a few of the most common questions we receive. If you need more detail or have a question you think we should add please let us know. We are always here to answer questions and offer advise.

What size TV should I get?

The simple answer is "As big as you can go aesthetically without going beyond a 40 degree viewing angle." The truth is usually we are limited by the aesthetics of the room and not by what would be best for viewing. Dividing the screen size (diagonal) by .84 will give you a good starting point. Example 65"(screen diagonal) ÷ 0.84 = 78" or  6' 6" (rounded). Or work it the other way. Example sitting 12' or 144" from the TV sd ÷ .84 = 144 after applying basic algebra this tells us the TV should be 120". Since most of us will not be installing a 120" screen we make an aesthetic decision. Bottom line, in most cases the TV will not be too big for viewing so choose one that will scale well in the room.
